The retirement and pension funds industry is impacted by regulatory changes – these not only include enhanced financial reporting requirements and actuarial guidelines, but an increased focus on governance, risk management and compliance requirements.
We have extensive experience in providing services to both retirement funds and administrators. We have a considerable skills base, both in South Africa and globally, and in-depth knowledge of the functions and operations of the industry.
We perform full scope statutory audits as required by the Pension Funds Act. We perform Agreed Upon Procedures as required in terms of Section 15 of the Pension Funds Act. Our audits of Schedule IB Assets of the fund held in compliance with Regulation 28. We perform prescribed procedures required by the Reserve Bank.
